Relax and refresh

Put on some good easy to listen to music and make a good cup of tea, find a comfortable place and enjoy. My friend Janet told me about this tea, oh yea, I'm hooked. I have always used sugar in my tea but this one has a natural sweetness so you don't need to add anything. On the back side of the tea bags there is a quote. This one said, "Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely, " Rodin (1840-1917) So now that I am all relaxed and refreshed, I can get busy and clean the house...we are having company for a few days.
This music page is a 4x4 collage, I could not get it all on a regular ATC. So what do you like to do to relax? Have you taken any "me time" as my daughter calls it? Remember to TAKE TIME TO STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES. This was one of my mothers favorite things to say to me, boy did she know her girl.

When I'm in my studio....that's when I relax. Glad you like the tea.
The 4 X 4 is great! I can almost hear the music.

That is a wonderful tea. I also enjoy a licorice tea but I can't think of the name...but it also doesn't require sugar due to its natural sweetness.
Duke Ellington! Yes!
"It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing! Do wop do wop do wop do wop do wop do wop do wop!"
Great tune!
Nice post! Nice art!

Beautiful fairy art and story! I loved it! That darn prince should have hurried over to keep her from the wolf!

Have a Great evening!

I love tea (in fact when I want to relax I brew a cup of tea and grab a good book or pop in a favorite old movie) - and that sounds like a good one Gail. Thanks.
There's nothing like getting company to motivate me to clean the house!!!

Neat music collage.
Happy cleaning....my least favorite thing to do!

I think the expression Stop and Smell the Roses came from the post hippie days in the early 80's when Ringo Starr released an album by that name. It would do us all good to take some time to "smell the roses"...slow down our lives a bit when it gets too hectic. I like coming here Gail because I get a quiet and peaceful feeling.

My Grandmother had so many saying, they seemed to come so easy for so many things. We all need to stop and smell the roses, that's why a garden is just the best thing for me. I love tea, but I am not sure that I have seen Red Tea??? But I will look for it now.
Isn't music the best, your picture is really vintage...I just love coming to your site....
Oh yes, I do not know who Tracy is, but I would love to go to her blog...I can't go by a Barn without thinking of the past. Mine is small, but has a large history.
