CITY GIRL

WHEN I SAW THIS PAGE OF THE BOOK THAT I AM ALTERING INTO AN ART JOURNAL I JUST KNEW I WANTED TO KEEP IT AND USE IT. IF YOU CLICK ON IT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL IT IS DOWNTOWN NEW YORK, AN OLDER PICTURE. I THINK THE TIME FRAME GOES WELL WITH MY FLAPPER GIRLS.
SINCE MY AUNT IS THE ONE THAT LEFT THE FARM FIRST AND WENT TO THE BIG CITY, MOST OF THE PICTURES ARE OF HER. THE ONE ON THE LEFT HOLDING THE KITTENS IS MY MOTHER.SHE FOLLOWED AFTER HER SISTER BUT THE CITY WAS CHICAGO, NOT NEW YORK.
THE NEXT TWO PICTURES ARE JUST A COUPLE BACKGROUNDS THAT I DID, STILL WAITING FOR THE SUBJECTS TO COME.

I STAYED BUSY TODAY MAKING BOOK MARKS, 40 OF THEM TO BE EXACT. WE WILL HAVE OUR MONTHLY LADIES MEETING AT CHURCH TOMORROW NIGHT AND I HAD TO HAVE THEM READY. THEY WILL BE FILLED OUT WITH PRAYER REQUESTS AND THEN EXCHANGED. OBJECT IS FOR YOU TO PRAY FOR THE ONE YOU GET. I DID NOT THINK TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THEM IN TIME FOR THIS POST.
HOPE EVERYONE IS STAYING INSPIRED AND HAVING FUN.

If I say I really like this, it would not be enough, I love it. It is a great little story and to look down into New York of old is really magical. Lovely, Mary
